there's a young couple around the hood selling not so common plants from different parts of mexico, this orchid was a little pricey so i adopted one w/ many bulbs, no flowers yet but affordable & simple but still beautiful, it's outside next the door, which is warm with a nice shade.

Hay una joven pareja por el vecindario vendiendo plantas raras de diferentes partes de México, esta orquídea estaba un poco cara así que adopté una con muchos bulbos, sin flores pero accesible & sencilla, igualmente guapa, la colgué afuera a un lado de la puerta, donde esta cálido & con buena sombrita.

& no i didn't steal it, i just wanted to use the title of one of my fave movies although i hope it wasn't taken from it's habitat illegaly... well in a way i might have stolen it

it's been soooo long! we finally moved, a few things need an assigned space or a piece of furniture to call home. The atelier is looking ok & so far i can get myself to work a little. Im mentally sketching the new season of eh.mio, my favorite season: AUTUM.

the yard, with bugambilias, pine tree, fig tree, & an aromatic bush which don't know the name of it in english, but the flowers open at night spreading such an exotic perfume.

urban prairie wallet | cartera urban prairie

I finished the urban prairie wallet prototype a couple of weeks ago, i needed a wallet so i made myself one, im satisfied with the result but there's some adjustments to be made before it crashes in my etsy shop which opened on may 7th!!! I might take a while to finish the urban prairie wallets & list them on the shop, at least a couple of weeks until we settle in to the new house.

 i deeply thank all the people who have visited & hearted my etsy shop.

Terminé el prototipo de la cartera urban prairie la semana pasada, necesitaba una cartera, así que me hice una, me gusta el resultado pero necesita algunos ajustes antes de que caiga en mi tiendita etsy que por cierto abrió el pasado 7 de mayo!!! Went to a flea market & bumped into a mister that alters old furniture turning them into unique pieces, an old sewing machine turned into a secretaire, or a pair of small wooden drawers standing literally with wooden feet which i fell in love with, hope to get more news about him.

Fuimos al mercado de pulgas & me encontré con un sr. que altera muebles antiguos convirtiéndolos en piezas únicas, una vieja maquina de coser convertida en secretaire, o un par de cajoneras de madera con patas que eran piés tallados en madera de los cuales me enamoré, espero tener más noticias del trabajo de éste sr.
